Upload Limits, Plans, and Billing
Everything you need to know about the Launch plan, upload quotas, and Shopify billing.
Current Plan: Launch
Billed through Shopify • 7-day free trial
The Launch plan is the only plan currently available. It's designed for launch-stage POD t-shirt stores that want to stop uploading mockups to each color variant by hand.
What's Included:
- Reusable mockup templates – Create templates from real Shopify t-shirt products and reuse them across designs
- Interactive placement editor – Drag your test graphic into place, adjust scale, and save flat or fold-following placement
- Automated mockups for color variants – Generate, upload, and attach the right mockup to each color variant automatically
- Light and dark shirt group support – Use one graphic for dark tees and another for light tees so designs stay readable
- 1 GB upload quota per hour – Upload and process up to 1 GB of mockup images per hour
- Email support – Get help with templates, uploads, and variant assignments
What Does 1 GB per Hour Mean?
The 1 GB upload quota per hour applies specifically to the generated mockup images that PrntFlow uploads to Shopify. This quota does not include base mockup images or test graphics you upload when creating templates—only the final composite mockups that get attached to your product variants.
How the Quota Works:
The quota is tracked in bytes and resets on a rolling hourly window. This means your quota resets approximately one hour after your first upload in that window, not at fixed clock times (like midnight or the top of the hour).
For example, if you upload 500 MB of mockups at 2:15 PM, that quota will reset at approximately 3:15 PM, allowing you to upload another 1 GB.
In Practice:
At typical mockup image sizes (e.g., 500 KB to 2 MB per generated mockup), 1 GB per hour is enough to generate a few hundred mockup images per hour. The exact throughput depends on:
- • Dimensions of your base mockup images (larger images = larger generated mockups)
- • Complexity of your design graphics
- • Final output dimensions and compression settings
- • Whether you're using flat or fold-following placement (warp placement may produce slightly larger files)
Tip: If you're running into upload limits, consider optimizing your base mockup images by reducing their resolution or file size before creating templates. You can also spread your mockup generation across multiple hours to stay within the rolling quota.
Future Plans: Grow and Scale (Roadmap)
Roadmap Notice: Grow and Scale plans are not yet available in the app. Launch is currently the only plan that new merchants from the Shopify App Store can subscribe to.
These plans are in development and features may change as we learn from real stores. We'll update this page and the in-app Account & Billing view when Grow and Scale are ready to launch.

Billing and Cancellation
Shopify App Billing
All billing is handled via Shopify's app billing system. Your subscription charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your store plan and other app charges. You don't need to manage payments separately—everything is billed through Shopify.
Cancellation
You can cancel your PrntFlow subscription anytime from your Shopify admin. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no penalties. If you cancel during your free trial, you won't be charged.
If You Uninstall or Cancel
When you uninstall PrntFlow or cancel your subscription:
- • Your existing mockup images in Shopify remain; PrntFlow does not remove them.
- • Variant assignments remain intact; your product pages continue to show the mockups PrntFlow generated.
- • You simply lose the ability to generate new mockups or edit templates via PrntFlow.
