The Mockup Upload Bottleneck

POD t-shirt sellers create and test dozens of mockups, but Shopify's manual upload system wastes hours and introduces errors once it's time to roll a winning mockup out across your catalog.

Hours of Manual Work

Applying a new mockup to each color variant means clicking into product after product, dragging images, and assigning variants by hand. With a couple hundred t-shirt products and multiple colors each, that easily turns into dozens of hours of repetitive work.

Variant Mismatches

Manually matching "mockup A → color A" across all variants is error-prone. The wrong mockup on the wrong color frustrates customers and makes your store look unprofessional.

Slow Refreshes

Every time you find a better mockup style or update designs, you have to repeat the entire manual process. Old mockups linger, and your catalog stops reflecting your latest, best-performing creatives.

The PrntFlow Solution

Install one app, turn your proven mockup into a reusable template, and let PrntFlow handle generating and assigning t-shirt mockups to each color variant.

Create Once, Reuse Everywhere

Build a template from your winning mockup: choose a t-shirt product, map base mockups to each color, group light and dark shirts, and set design placement with a test graphic.

Apply to New Designs in a Few Clicks

For each new design, select a t-shirt product, upload the design graphic(s), choose a template, and let PrntFlow generate, upload, and assign mockups to every color variant automatically.

Ready for Full-Catalog Automation (Roadmap)

As products go through PrntFlow, their design graphics are saved with them. We're building toward bulk re-generation, where you can apply a new template—a new winning mockup style—across your entire t-shirt catalog or collections in a single action, without re-uploading designs per product.

How PrntFlow Works

From install to live t-shirt mockups in minutes

1

Install the app

Add PrntFlow (POD Mockup Uploader) from the Shopify App Store. Approve Shopify OAuth permissions so the app can read your products and upload images to product media. No separate login or credit card required to start.

2

Select a t-shirt product and pull its colors

In the app, search for and select a t-shirt product with multiple color variants (for example, black, white, red, yam). PrntFlow reads those color variants and brings them into the template so you can define how each color should look.

3

Upload base mockups and set light/dark groups

Drag and drop your base t-shirt mockup images into PrntFlow and assign them to each color. Optionally group colors into light and dark shirts so you can use different graphics where needed for readability (for example, light text on dark shirts, dark text on light shirts).

4

Place a test graphic and save the template

Upload a test graphic (such as a sample design) and use the in-app editor to position and scale it on the base mockup. Choose between flat placement or a look that follows shirt folds for more realistic printed results. Save the template—this now captures colors, base mockups, and placement for that mockup style.

5

Apply the template to products with real designs

For each new design, select a t-shirt product, upload the design graphic(s) (one for all colors or separate for light/dark shirts), and choose a template. PrntFlow generates composite mockups, uploads them to Shopify product media, and assigns the correct image to each color variant automatically. Your product is ready to sell with consistent, variant-specific mockups and no manual mapping.

Built for POD Merchants

If you're running a POD t-shirt or apparel store on Shopify, especially with providers like Printify or Printful, PrntFlow is built for your workflow.

Merch Creators

You design mockups in Photoshop, Affinity, Canva, Photopea, or with AI. PrntFlow takes your proven t-shirt mockup style and gets it into Shopify as reusable templates—so you don't have to drag images into each variant by hand.

Compatible with products synced from Printify, Printful, Gelato, Monster Digital, and other POD platforms, as long as they appear as Shopify t-shirt products with color variants.

Design Agencies

Managing mockups for multiple client t-shirt stores? Standardize each client's winning mockup style as a template, then apply it to their products in a few clicks. Save hours every time you refresh a catalog or roll out a new collection.

High-Volume Sellers

Selling 50–500+ t-shirt products per catalog with multiple color variants each? Manual uploads don't scale. PrntFlow turns one placement decision into mockups for every color variant of a product, and our roadmap includes bulk template re-application across entire catalogs.

Catalog Refreshers

Updating designs seasonally or testing new mockup styles? Once products have gone through PrntFlow and their design graphics are saved, you'll be able to apply new templates across many products in one go (roadmap), instead of repeating the same steps product by product.

Packed with Features

Template-based mockup generation

Turn a single, tested mockup style into a reusable template that defines colors, base mockups, and placement for your t-shirt designs.

Variant-aware image assignment

Generate, upload, and assign the correct mockup image to each color variant automatically—no more manual "mockup A → color A" mapping.

Light/dark shirt support

Group colors into light and dark shirts and use different design graphics where needed so fonts and designs stay readable on both black and white tees.

Realistic placement options

Choose between flat placement or placement that follows shirt folds, so your designs look printed on the fabric, not just pasted on top.

Shopify-native image handling

Images are uploaded through Shopify's Product Media API and attached directly to your products and variants. Your store retains full control over media.

Roadmap: bulk re-gen, alt text, and AI content

We're working on catalog-wide re-generation from stored design graphics, automatic alt text for all generated images, and AI-drafted product descriptions and Google product titles/descriptions to cover more of the final finishing steps.
